Workplace Engineer

Location: Bucharest, Romania

The DGDI EU Endpoint and Collaboration squad currently consists of shared resources (with limited capacity allocation on a monthly basis, <30%). This results in inefficiency for supporting the SCCM infrastructure and projects’ deliveries and introduces diferrent risks: competing priorities (local vs. Regional), delays in deliverables, lack of accountability, knowledge gaps, limited support etc.

Having a dedicated resource will help achieve the following:

• Accountability and faster issue resolution: the resource will act as a SPOC and take ownership for all technical aspects, which will increase the response time for incidents
• Higher productivity: as this will be a dedicated regional role, the risk of context switching will be low, resulting in faster delivery and responsiveness
• Expertise: deep technology expertise
• Focus on continuous improvement: the long-term planning accuracy will increase and there will be dedicated time to focus not only on incident response, but also improvements

To support our Global Transformation, we are looking for a Senior IT Workplace engineer to join our team: workplace engineers focus on delivering high-availability and high-performance IT solutions to sustain the users' online and on-site activities.
