What’s your possible?

At Northrop Grumman UK, you are part of a team driving innovation where it matters most – solving tomorrow’s challenges and shaping the technology solutions of the future. It’s what we call Defining Possible.

This mindset goes beyond our customer solutions; it is the foundation for your career development and the impact we have within the community.

Your Opportunity

This is more than just a job; it is a mission.

As a Cloud Engineer within our Infrastructure Team, you will play a critical role in supporting customers as they refactor, replatform and rehost mission-critical systems into AWS and hybrid cloud environments. Your work will directly contribute to improving system reliability, reducing operational costs, and enabling greater organisational agility across national security programmes.

You will collaborate with highly skilled engineers and architects to design and deliver innovative solutions to complex challenges, working across both cloud and on-premise environments using modern Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps practices.

“Life as a Cloud Engineer is an exceptionally rewarding role where no two days are truly the same. You can be troubleshooting some Python code in a Lambda function, designing complex solutions, presenting to the customer and building that same solution using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps tooling. This variety helps the role feel fresh, and I always finish each day feeling like I’ve learnt something new.”
Kris, Principal Cloud Solutions Architect, Northrop Grumman UK
