Senior Product Marketing Manager, Ships & Boats

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.

Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to own product marketing for our ships and boats: Corsair, Mirage and Marauder, as future vessels. This person will own the go-to-market plan for each vessel, as well as the positioning / messaging of the individual products and how they come to life with our creative team.

This will be a highly cross-functional role, partnering with our Product, Growth, Communications, Engineering, and Design teams. This is a hands-on role, you'll personally own positioning and GTM for the vessel line from day one.

Responsibilities

• The go-to-market plan for each vessel: audience, competitive positioning, proof points, success criteria, and how and when we launch.

• Positioning, messaging, and win themes, set alongside Product, Comms and Growth - held consistent across every channel.

• Supporting creative teams in the execution of go-to-market work (launch videos, etc.)

• The positioning system itself - a messaging architecture and a launch playbook that we can run with and repeat.

• Product fluency. Know the vessels cold, and partner directly with Product and Engineering on capability, roadmap, and what sets Saronic apart from its competitors.

• A seat with the technical teams. Stay current on manufacturing, testing, and program milestones for the products you own, and arm the broader marketing and comms team with the information they need to do their jobs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in product marketing or go-to-market, with experience marketing physical, technically complex products.

• Track record defining positioning and GTM for hardware across the full lifecycle: launch through scaled adoption.

• Experience working directly with senior execs, product leaders, and technical teams, with the judgment and influence to drive decisions across those groups.

• Willing to spend time where the vessels get built and tested. Shipyard and on-water time is part of the job.

• Defense, aerospace, automotive, or another deeply technical industry background is a plus, not a requirement.

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

• Occasional standing and walking within the office

• Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment

• Visual acuity to read screens, documents, and reports

• Occasional reaching, bending, or stooping to access file drawers, cabinets, or office supplies

• Lifting and carrying items up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, packages)

Benefits

• Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of services

• Saronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependents

• Dental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision care

• Saronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependents

• Time Off: Generous PTO and Holidays

• Parental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parents

• Competitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonuses

• Retirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company match

• Stock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s success

• Life and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coverage

• Pet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helpline

• Additional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the office
