Moog Aircraft Group are currently seeking a skilled CNC Machinist with proven experience operating Mazak 3‑axis and 4‑axis machines, including complex mill‑turn applications to join our team at our Wolverhampton facility.

• Carry out first‑off inspections and ongoing quality checks using a variety of measuring equipment, including CMM machinery.

• Identify and resolve machining or tooling issues to minimise scrap and downtime

• Maintain machines and work area to ensure safe and efficient operation

• Work to production schedules while maintaining quality and safety standards

Key Skills & Experience

• Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering / CNC Machining preferred

• Relevant manufacturing or machining certifications advantageous

• Proven experience operating Mazak CNC machines

• Strong background in 3‑axis and 4‑axis machining

• Confident machining titanium, steel, and aluminum

• Strong understanding of cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and tool life management

• Excellent ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T

• Competent with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, CMM awareness)

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

You will work Monday - Thursday 10pm - 6am and Friday 4pm - 9pm.
