You will lead and coordinate M&A activities from early opportunity assessment through execution and integration planning. • Coordinate input from business leaders, finance, legal, strategy, technology and other relevant functions.
• Support negotiations and prepare recommendations and decision material for senior management.
• Contribute to integration planning and post-acquisition follow-up to help realise the intended value of acquisitions.
• Build and maintain relationships with potential acquisition targets, advisers and other external stakeholders.
• Ensure that M&A activities are conducted with strong governance and in line with applicable laws, policies and Saab's standards for responsible business.

Your Profile

We believe you have experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, investment banking, strategy consulting or a related field. You are comfortable leading complex projects and engaging with senior stakeholders, combining detailed analysis with a clear understanding of strategic priorities.

You also bring:

• Strong understanding of the defence sector.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to assess strategic and commercial opportunities across international markets.
• A structured, proactive and collaborative approach, with sound judgement and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A relevant university degree in business, finance, engineering, project management or a related discipline.
